Product description
The powder surfboard for the whole mountain
The Scout is a freestyle-oriented powder board with a shape inspired by short and wide swallowtail surfboards. The result is a board with a wider platform and shorter length for better manoeuvrability in tight terrain, without sacrificing grip and edge hold for fast turns on the piste. The Hover Camber profile provides massive float and keeps you on top even in the deepest powder.
Riding Style
An all-mountain / freeride board for advanced riders - this board is perfect for you if you are looking for a board for fast carving turns and surf turns in the backcountry.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider and longer than the tail for controlled turns and plenty of float. The bindings are mounted centrally (no setback), so the board rides equally well in both directions, whether switch or forward.
Profile
The Hover Camber profile consists of a camber between the bindings and a large rocker in the nose. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in the pow and gives it enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain design of this board. Hard enough for powerful turns but still soft enough for a playful ride
Construction
The poplar / paulownia core with birch wood is very light, very stable and flexible. Phonon is a pre-cured fibreglass topsheet that provides resilient energy build-up when flexing the board. The result is a super-light, powerfully reactive ride. The sintered base is an industry standard for high quality riding surfaces. It offers a good balance between the speed achieved by a hard surface and good wax absorption.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
