Product description
Lightweight, premium freeride ski - made from sustainable quality materials
With a massive 119mm waist, the Mana 4 is the widest ski in the Mana series - a dream ski for a dream day and a top-notch precision tool with decent pop and uplift. The paulownia / poplar wood core and the carbon reinforcement, provide an effortless, light ride in the deepest powder. Designed in Verbier, Switzerland. Handmade in Europe. Built for eternity.
Riding style
A freeride/powder ski for advanced riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially tuned to deliver the best performance in powder. Maximum uplift and manoeuvrability for deepest snow.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in the soft snow.
Profile
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the tip and tail areas. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable in powder and offers great uplift. The camber provides edge hold, pop and fast power transmission.
Flex
With Boat Flex, the tip and tail are stiffer than the middle section of the ski. This absorbs vibrations better during landings and gives the ski more pop.
Construction
The paulownia / poplar core is very light, offers good pop and flex as well as excellent vibration dampening. The micro-cap construction is a hybrid of a high-quality sandwich construction and a robust cap construction. This protects sensitive areas of the ski that may be prone to chipping.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
