Product description
A brand new all-mountain freestyle board in K2's line
The K2 Almanac is brand new in the K2 line and was developed to rock every feature in powder, side hits and everything else that gets in your way.
Carbon reinforcements, a fast and hard base, and the perfectly tuned directional profile merge to create an all-mountain freestyle weapon for advanced riders.
Riding Style
The Almanac is designed for powder, side hits, and natural freestyle features. A freeride board with a penchant for freestyle in any terrain.
Shape
The directional shape ensures uplift for trips into the powder, offers stability and control, and guarantees pop.
Profile
The Directional Combination Camber blends the best of two worlds. The long rocker at the nose provides massive uplift in deep snow. The camber between the bindings delivers control, stability, and a reactive ride. The shape is rounded off with a short rocker in the tail, which keeps the board playful and agile.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for the all-mountain construction of the Almanac.
Construction
The BAP Core is a mix of three types of wood that form a light, stable core with excellent damping properties without additives. Carbon Backbone™ is designed to add snap and pop to every ollie and takeoff. The Sintered 4000 Base absorbs the wax deep into the pores, is extremely fast and stays that way if you maintain it.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
