Product description
The Freestyle Weapon by Jake Kuzyk
It's hard to imagine K2's collection without the Medium. Developed in collaboration with Jake Kuzyk, the Medium is the freestyle snowboard you spend all day with in the park, ripping sidehits on the slopes and going to the street spot in the evening.
Riding Style
Off to the park and have fun. The Medium is a freestyle snowboard for park, rails and jibs.
Shape
The Medium comes in a True Twin shape. Nose and tail have the same length and width and are combined with centred, radial waisting. The snowboard rides forward as well as switch exactly the same.
Profile
The classic camber profile ensures a reactive feel and absolute edge control.
Flex
The medium flex provides control and precision, but still leaves you enough freedom for jibs.
Construction
The BAP Core is a mix of three different types of wood that form a light, stable core that has excellent damping properties without additives. Triaxial fibreglass provides torsional stiffness and more response. The Carbon Backbone™, which lies centrally between the inserts, provides the extra portion of pop. Carbon Darkweb™, a carbon layer increases energy transfer and provides more stability, even at high speeds - full control in every situation. The Sintered 4000 Base absorbs the wax deep into the pores, is extremely fast and stays that way if you maintain it.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
