Product description
20 years of Bataleon and that's something to celebrate!
On the Bataleon 20Y snowboard you will find all the graphics of the 400 boards in their line on the topsheet and all 400 base graphics on the fast, sintered base. It's an incredibly well-balanced all-mountain board with a versatile directional twin shape and high-end materials.
Riding style
The 20Y is your high-performance snowboard for all-mountain riding with a tribute to the 400 models from the last 20 years of Bataleon.
Shape
With the directional shape of the Cruiser, the nose is longer than the tail. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder. SideKick™ tips increase edge lift at the widest points of the nose and tail for even easier turn initiation, more float and better handling in difficult terrain.
Profile
The Directional 3BT™ has a slightly narrower centrebase than the Twins, but more edge length between the feet and a Medium Camber.
Flex
The medium flex (6/10) offers stability and an agile feel.
Construction
The Ultra Light Core is made of 70 % paulownia and 30 % poplar wood. This core thus offers the best ratio of stability and weight. The carbon reinforcements laid crosswise under the bindings also offer targeted power transfer from edge to edge. In addition, new carbon stringers on the SideKick™ tips provide even better pop. The DRST Super Tubes are hollow carbon tubes that increase pop and reduce weight. The sintered Hyper Glide S base is hard and fast and remains so when well maintained.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
