Product description
The ultimate inspiring carving experience
A balanced flex and the innovative construction make the IcarusSymtail longboard the epitome of modern carving performance. The bamboo and fibreglass deck construction provides a lively flex and a snowboard-like feel, perfect for carving and pumping.
Riding style
This board is all about creative riding. Whether cruising through the city or carving on the mountain.
Shape
A symmetrical longboard with top mount trucks. As a result, it offers a smooth ride and is ideal for skating in both directions.
Profile
The camber profile and the slight concave create a fast-responding and comfortable platform for carving-orientated longboarding.
Flex
The board comes in 2 different flex options. A soft flex gives you more control at low speeds and enables tighter turns, but loses stability at higher speeds. A harder flex means more energy potential, more stability at higher speeds and better durability.
- Rider weight: Flex 1: 75-122+ kg
- Rider weight: Flex 2: 35-90+ kg
Epoxy and Triax fibreglass are laminated vertically onto a bamboo core and then pressed into a concave camber shape. The lower cork layer ensures good vibration damping.
Setup
This Loaded complete board comes with Paris 165 mm trucks and Orangatang wheels. The Reverse Kingpin trucks with a baseplate angle of 50° are particularly suitable for carving. The soft wheels offer a very good grip and roll smoothly over any surface.
