Shred Kids

Winter after winter the Shred Kids prove that you can't start snowboarding early enough. This year they again offer numerous events for kids from five to sixteen years. In addition, these events are supported by Nitro, Burton and K2 with equipment, energy and know-how.

Europe's largest snowboarding youth project, the Shred Kids, has been supporting snowboarders, aged five to sixteen, for 12 years now. The kids meet weekly to shred together on the mountain and are supported by qualified coaches. Fun in the snow and a love for snowboarding are the main focus. The weekly sessions take place at 16 different locations, including: Oberammergau, Oberwiesenthal, Lenggries, Sudelfeld, Garmisch, Feldberg, Geißkopf, Nesselwang, Oberhof, Oberstaufen, Oberstdorf, Spitzing, Munich (by bus), Innsbruck, Seefeld and Winterberg. Anyone who has already gained some initial snowboarding experience and can ride the tow lift independently can participate.

Kids Snowboard Festival

In addition to the weekly shred sessions, there will be a total of five snowboarding festivals for beginners and advanced riders this winter. A highlight for all kids who are already snowboard fans or want to become one. On-site, the kids can look forward to fun snowboarding days together with their peers and professional snowboard instructors, great goodies from Blue Tomato, a colorful supporting program with a family BBQ, music, pro riders on-site, the Burton Riglet Park (also for the little ones from 2 years old) and test equipment from K2 Snowboarding, Nitro Snowboards, Burton Snowboards, and much more.

This awesome Snowboard Weekend is available for 69€ (2 days, plus 10€ rental equipment per day) Participation is only possible with registration, places are limited. Rental equipment, lift pass (Family Deals) and food are available for little money on site. We are looking forward to a weekend of board sports together with YOU!

Kids Freestyle Camps

The Shred Kids Freestyle Camps are open to all snow-enthusiastic children, whether on a snowboard or skis, so you don't have to be a Shred Kids member. The requirement is that you can ride the tow lift and safely navigate turns on blue slopes by yourself. The experienced snowboard and freeski coaches are specialized in young athletes and will put a permanent smile on your face. Secure a spot for one of the Kids Freestyle Camps and join us for shredding together with like-minded individuals!

Family Weekend Westendorf

From March 15th to 16th, the big Shred Kids Family Weekend is happening, the event for both young and old!
The Skiwelt Westendorf awaits you this weekend with varied slopes, perfectly shaped fun parks, and touring options for the parents. In addition to freestyle coaching for the kids, parents can choose between a guided splitboard tour with a mountain guide and freestyle coaching for adults. A colorful supporting program, delicious snacks, cool goodies, and prizes, including those from Blue Tomato, make the event a true experience!
