Kids Snowboard Events Overview

The new season is just around the corner and this winter we are actively supporting the next generation of snowboarders again. In order to reach as many kids as possible, our partners offer regular kids snowboard classes as well as unique kids camps and trips. Below you will find a list of these events for the current winter season 19/20.

Elooa Kids Snowboarding

Former snowboard professionals Jens Anselstetter and Heinz Löhle are offering their unique elooa camps this winter for the first time for kids only. Both have 3 children themselves and therefore know what they're talking about when it comes to teaching kids.

Elooa Kids Snowboarding starts the season with the big Kids Snowboard Opening on December 21st in the Allgäu at the Thaler Höhe. Participation and material are free and therefore perfect for trying snowboarding for the first time. In addition to the regular courses, there are also two kids snowboard camps over the winter holidays (02.01. - 03.01.20) and carnival holidays (26.02. - 28.02.20) as well as two kids adventures in Allgäu (20.03. - 22.03.20) and on Kitzsteinhorn (May 8th - May 10th, 20).

Zillertal Välley Rälley

The Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards is starting its 7th season. Over a total of four weekends the popular snowboard amateur series, directed by the “Ästhetiker” stops in the best Zillertal snow parks. The kids can expect a combination of contest and coaching that not only promotes fun in snowboarding but also offers the kids an ideal teaching for their future careers. All four tour stops await snowboard fans of all kinds for a whole weekend in the Zillertal full of action, fun, cool prices and much more.

Shred Kids

Have you already gained your first snowboarding experience and are you now looking for weekly fun and snowboarding action among peers? Then join the Shred Kids! The focus is always on fun according to the motto "Happy Shredding". The rental material that grows with you for the whole season is available for little money. Kids snowboard festivals, photo shoots, various snowboard camps and much more await you. Choose one of the 9 locations all over Germany, register for a free trial training join the largest youth team in Germany.

Blue Tomato Kids Day Planai

Good vibes, motivated kids and coaches and delicious food: that is the summary of our kids day on the Planai. No matter if you are a beginner, advanced or snowboard professional - everyone can participate and learn a lot at the Blue Tomato Kids Day. The kids are divided into small groups in order to then practice with the coaches of the Boardstars snowboard school. For all more experienced kids the Blue Tomato Team Riders reveal tips and tricks in the park.

Participation, lift tickets and snowboard equipment to test from Burton are for free at the Blue Tomato Kids Day on Planai.

Shred School

The Shredschool is a project that aims to get winter sports enthusiasts of all ages into freestyle sports in the fun park. Both beginners and advanced freestylers are looked after individually by professionals such as Friedl Kolar, Chris Kröll and Steve Gruber - from the first mini jump to contest preparation. In the shred school children, students, tourists and others can take the opportunity to work with professional freestyle coaches. The focus is always on having fun in the park.

This year permanent freestyle workshops will be offered at Nassfeld and in the Zillertal Arena. Since Christmas, free shred school workshops have been held every Sunday / Tuesday in the Nassfeld fun park and the Action Park in Zell am Ziller. These workshops are free of charge.

Junior Freestyle Tour 2020

Whether you're a professional snowboarder or a beginner, the junior freestyle tour is all about having a lot of fun in the park, trying out new things and meeting like-minded people in the mountains!

The tour is a mix of kids events including coaching for newbies, contests and new fun events that are supposed to convey the original fun of snowboarding. All board fanatics will get their money's worth at the 7 tour stops in the south of Bavaria.

In addition to new experiences and friends, there are also great prizes to be won.

Carinthia Shred Tour

The Carinthia Shred Tour is for freeskiers and snowboarders from beginner to advanced level and fun for the whole family. The Carinthia Shred Tour Kids has been teaching freestyle snowboarding and skiing in various ski areas in Carinthia since 2017 and is growing year by year. Professional coaches share valuable tips with the motivated participants, and great prizes can be won by Blue Tomato.

Burning Boots Banked Slalom

The BURNING BOOTS BANKED SLALOM is an association of passionate board athletes who all have the same mission: to convey the fun of snowboarding. Promoting young people is particularly important to the organizers of the BBBS, because the future of snowboarding is in their hands. This year, on 07./08. March 2020, the boots burn on the ideal slope at Brauneck for the third time. The usual steep curves are supplemented by any new features and thus become longer, more varied and more creative than ever.

Kids on Snow

What started with an idea to bring children closer to winter sports through snowboarding has become an institution after 9 successful years.

KIDS ON SNOW started in 2011 with the intention to revitalize the winter sports weeks at school. After 9 successful years, this goal has been more than achieved. Around 13,000 students from 433 schools have used the opportunity to learn snowboarding through KIDS ON SNOW and to experience a day full of exercise and enthusiasm on the snow!

Boarders Day Kreischberg

Initially the Boarders Day was only intended for children up to 20 years. Today however, the event on the Kreischberg is very popular amongst snowboarders of all ages. This year's carinthian event was held on December 14th and attracted a total of 300 participants aged from 6 to 71. There were goodies from Blue Tomato, a K2 snowboard and avalanche equipment as well as a backpack from BCA for all participants.
