Description du produit
Pat Moore's Signature Snowboard for Park Pro-Lines and Backcountry Booters
Arbor Snowboards and Pat Moore developed the Rain for freestyle in any terrain. The System Camber provides pop and snap, while the slight camber in the nose and tail softens the board’s aggressiveness. The taper ensures float on powder landings, and double carbon stringers provide durable pop.
Riding Style
A freestyle board for advanced riders. This board is perfect for challenging rides in the park and adventures in the backcountry. Kicker lines, backcountry booters, and sidehits are its domain.
Shape
The Directional Twin Shape offers you more float in powder and excellent riding characteristics, forward and switch. Due to the offset of the bindings towards the tail (setback), the nose becomes slightly longer. However, the shape of the nose and tail remains symmetrical. This geometry provides floatation in powder and stability at high speeds while you enjoy a pure freestyle feeling. The tapered design, with a narrower tail than the nose, allows for smooth turn initiation, speed stability, and increased float in deep snow. The additional volume in the front section makes for effortless turns in soft, deep snow and greatly enhances float. Arbor’s Grip Tech offers excellent edge control on hard snow and ice by extending the edges underfoot slightly.
Profile
The System Camber profile consists of a positive camber with a slight rocker in the nose and tail. This profile offers high stability, excellent edge control, and plenty of pop. The rocker smooths it out and reduces the chance of catching an edge. The Uprise Fenders system raises the outer contact points off the snow, with the edges at the nose and tail contact points tilted up by 3°. This creates a playful ride without catching edges.
Flex
The medium flex is ideal for this board's all-mountain design. It is hard enough for powerful turns but still soft enough for a playful ride.
Construction
The Highland III core is made from poplar and paulownia. It has the highest amount of paulownia in the Arbor line. Mixed glassing combines triax over biax fiberglass, creating a highly versatile flex. The 360 sidewalls fully wrap around the board, significantly increasing its durability and stability. The sintered base is very fast and stays that way with proper care. The bio-plastic topsheet is more environmentally friendly than traditional topsheets, reducing environmental impact.
