Description du produit
The go-to twin board for demanding terrain
The Swoon is a twin board for women seeking top-level all-mountain performance. The lively pop and balanced board feel are essential for navigating steep, technical terrain. Experienced snowboarders will discover the Swoon’s potential at high speeds, how intuitively it maneuvers through tight trees, and how it floats through the powder fields of your dreams. The board is available in both camber and rocker versions.
Riding Style
This board is an all-mountain/freeride weapon for advanced riders. It is perfect for those who love riding with high speed and precision on the piste and in the backcountry. The twin shape also allows you to ride and land switch in powder without any problem.
Shape
The directional twin shape provides more float in powder and excellent riding characteristics both forward and switch. With the bindings set back towards the tail (setback), the nose becomes slightly longer, but the shape of the nose and tail remains symmetrical. This geometry ensures float in powder and stability at high speeds while offering a pure freestyle feeling. Arbor's Grip Tech provides good edge control on hard snow and ice by slightly extending the edges outward underfoot.
Profile
The traditional camber profile consists of a single positive camber from nose to tail. This profile offers high stability, good edge control, and a lot of pop. However, camber boards are more prone to catching edges than other profiles.
Flex
The medium flex ideally complements this board's all-mountain design. It is stiff enough for powerful turns yet still soft enough for a playful ride.
Construction
The Double Barrel II core is a progressive 1:2 poplar/paulownia core with bamboo stringers along the rails. This gives the board additional torsional response and more control. The topsheet from sustainable wood is processed into an Ash Power Ply construction. The natural wood fiber creates the design Arbor is known for. The 360 sidewalls completely enclose the board. This technology features incredibly small tolerances, significantly increasing the board's stability. The bio-plastic topsheet is made from castor seed oil and is extremely durable. The sintered base is very fast and remains so with proper care. The R.A.P Topless Technology is a construction method that eliminates the need for a bioplastic topsheet, resulting in a lighter, more environmentally friendly board. The mixed glassing offers a combination of triax over biax fiberglass, creating a very versatile flex: powder, backcountry, piste, jumps, and more.
