The Milligram has proven that the weight of a splitboard can be drastically reduced without compromising board feel, durability or versatility. Under its smooth outer layer of carbon, there is an extremely lightweight core composed of ultra-light wood and Honeycomb. Impact Pads protect the board without adding unnecessary weight. Whether it's a week-long expedition or a short tour after work, you'll quickly appreciate the weight advantage. In ride mode, it reacts so directly that you completely forget you are on a splitboard.
This year, rubber inserts on the inner edges put an end to the annoying crunching when you assemble the two halves. It also makes the inside edges even more grippy and stable.

Shape
The Milligram is tapered directional, meaning the nose is slightly longer and wider than the tail. Result: more uplift and control in deep snow.

Profile
The board is characterised by a Traction Camber profile. It offers plenty of grip during the ascent and absolute precision on the descent.

Construction
The splitboard has a BBP core with the lightest wood you can buy. Weightless paulownia and balsa are carefully combined with strong birch wood to save precious grams without losing strength. The Full Carbon Jacket is the most expensive fibre layer in the Amplid arsenal. The ratio of carbon strength and weight is unbeatable, allowing thinner, almost weightless layers that achieve the same flexible profile. Result: The board reacts quickly and has incredible energy. The Sintered 7 HD base has a highly compacted base and heats super fast through all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore almost indestructible. The Milligram also has Floatation Tips that give you incredible speed and a surfy feel.
