The All-Mountain/Freeride Board by Robin Van Gyn
When Robin Van Gyn rides steep faces in Alaska, she can fully rely on her smoothie. The Directional shape combined with the C2 profile gives you plenty of float, stability and control, no matter where you are or what the snow conditions are like. If, like Robin, you're always going all out, the Smoothie is the board for you.
Riding style
All-mountain/freeride for advanced female riders. This board is perfect for fast turns on the piste and in the backcountry. It offers plenty of float in deep powder and reliable performance and stability in challenging terrain.
Shape
The directional shape ensures uplift for trips out into the powder, offers stability and control and guarantees pop. The taper means the nose is wider than the tail and promotes smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed and enhanced deep snow uplift. The larger volume in the front area allows you to make effortless turns in deep and soft snow and increases the float enormously. The Magne-Traction® technology provides improved edge hold with serrated edges. Especially on icy slopes they unfold their full potential.
Profile
The C2 profile comes with a rocker between the bindings combined with a camber under the bindings. This combination offers a good edge hold thanks to the camber areas, as well as good uplift and unlimited freestyle action without catching an edge.
Flex
The medium-hard flex gives you smoothness and stability at high speeds as well as good pop.
Construction
At the heart of the board is the Full Hearted Core. This super light yet strong core is made from a blend of 70 % poplar, 30 % paulownia and 4 stringers for best pop. The sintered base is fast and stays that way if you take good care of it.

Snowboards komen met een gewaxte base en geslepen kanten uit de fabriek. Je kunt er meteen mee boarden. Dit noemen we een "factory tuning". Deze tuning gaat niet heel lang mee en nieuwe snowboards moeten na een paar dagen weer goed gewaxt worden. Denk er aan om je board regelmatig te onderhouden.
