New all-mountain binding in the Salomon line 

The EDB is a new addition to the Salomon line and offers you everything you need for a day on the mountain. No more, no less. It comes with a host of essential shred features you won't want to do without: EDB highback with a recycled composite content, pre-rotated highback, comfortable straps, bevelled footbed and composite ratchets for more comfort and precision. The EDB binding is equipped with all the technical features and comfort you need and at the price you want.

Highback
The highback of the EDB comes with a 20 % recycled material content and a template mechanism. The HB filter is a unique vibration and shock absorbing material. This technology can be found exclusively at Salomon.

Baseplate
The EDB Baseplate is made from a special 30 % composite material that is stiffer than plastic and more comfortable and durable than aluminum. This results in maximised performance and indescribable comfort. In addition, there is a universal disk with integrated mounting system and an adjustable toe ramp to adjust the sole length of your boot perfectly to the baseplate. The inclined footbed will greatly improve your ollie power and edge control while also being easy on your joints.
The full-length EVA cushioning system increases comfort and keeps your feet comfortable even after long days on the mountain.

Straps
The Power Lite Ankle and Ultra-fit Toe Straps keep you firmly and comfortably in the binding. They are super light and do not cause any uncomfortable pressure points.  The composite buckles are also made of composite materials and have a 3-axis mechanism so that you can buckle up tightly and accurately. In addition, the straps can be individually adjusted to your wishes without any tools.
