Freestyle-focussed surf feeling for the whole mountain
The Mind Expander Twin is a hybrid all-mountain board with a directional twin shape designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson. Riders who want to shred absolutely every terrain feature will love the playful yet balanced board feel and solid freestyle performance of this board.
Riding style
A fun all-mountain/freestyle board for every rider - carving turns on the slopes, surf turns in the powder or creative runs in the park. With this board, the good times never stop.
Shape
The directional twin shape of this board is actually a perfectly symmetrical true twin shape, but with a slightly longer nose. This shape gives you the same riding characteristics both forward and switch, with a little more uplift in powder. Traction Tech 3.0, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions.
Profile
The C. The Surf Camber Rocker profile was designed by shaper Chris Christenson especially for the Mind Expander. It consists of a camber between the bindings and a rocker in the nose and tail. This keeps the board extremely manoeuvrable in pow and gives it enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission. Just like the shape of a spoon, the 3D Contour Base 3.0 lifts the contact points off the snow to prevent catching edge and increase float in soft snow. The 3.0 version has a 7 mm bend in the nose and a 0 to 7 mm bend in the tail. The spoon-shaped bevel starts at the rocker point.
Flex
The medium flex makes the snowboard hard enough for powerful turns, but still soft enough for a playful ride.
Construction
The heart of the Mind Expander is the Bamboo Surf Core. The bamboo and paulownia core with reinforcing stringers ensures powerful turns and response. The basalt stringers help to transfer power to the edges, improve the torsional behaviour and additionally dampen the board. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is made from castor seeds. The sintered 8000 base is fast, easy to repair and absorbs wax excellently.

Mer informasjon
Snowboard er ofte levert klart til bruk med en vokset base og skarpe kanter. Likevel, "factory tuning" er ikke så veldig holdbar og ditt nye snowboard bør bli ordentlig vokset etter et par dager og vedlikeholdt.
