The fully taped waterproof Original suits are made from a robust nylon Taslon with a super soft lining. All external zips are a quality waterproof YKK, and the main zip is 2-way, which is great for ventilation on warmer days. 
The suits have a lightweight 60gsm polyester wadding, making them light enough for the warmer months, and ideal for colder climates with the right layering system.
