At home in park, pipe, pow and on steep faces, the Jones Aviator is an all-mountain directional twin board for premium stability in the air with unmatched edge grip. The snowboard's lively handling and speed can be attributed to the 3D Contour Base 2.0 and the new, traditional camber profile. Carbon / Innegra reinforcements give the board maximum torsional stiffness and deliver lightning fast response for extra pop and snap. The Aviator 2.0 with its ECO plastic topsheet made from castor seed and bio-resin provides additional ECO performance. In addition, the newly developed Koroyd core, the lightest core ever, offers incredibly good vibration damping - consistently down to minus 50 degrees Celsius. Space technology for your snowboard. 

Riding style
The Jones Aviator 2.0 offers a freestyle and all-mountain experience like no other board. The twin directional shape, 3D base contour and progressive sidecut provide control and grip in all conditions, switch or forward.

Shape
The Directional Twin Shape has the advantage that the nose gets a little longer due to the offset of the binding towards the tail (setback), giving you more lift in the powder. However, the shape of the nose and tail remain symmetrical, which means that even switch riding is no problem. In deep snow, you'll enjoy less snow being carried back over the sides of the nose thanks to the Blunt Nose. This means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight.  Traction Tech, the corrugated edge, ensures the best edge hold in all conditions. At the ends of the progressive waist, the radius is gradually increased until the edges reach the contact points. Gradually increase the radius towards the contact point for a smoother turn initiation. This waist thereby offers a less abrupt transition into the snow.

Profile
The traditional full camber profile of the Aviator 2.0 offers incredible edge hold in turns and landings. The camber radius tapers at the nose and tail, and the base is also bevelled at the edges. This lifts the edges slightly off the snow in the places where they tend to tip.
The 3D Base Contour 2.0 comes with a balanced bend-up of 4 mm in nose and tail. The bending up of the base starts behind the contact points. 

Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.

Construction
The triple density Power Core features hardwood bamboo stringers for extra pop and durability, and paulownia for weight savings. This core combines with ultra-light Koroyd. This material absorbs vibrations, dampens and does so with minimal weight. Innegra reinforcements increase the pop in nose and tail as well as the durability of the flex profile. Triax fibreglass interwoven with Triax carbon dampens vibrations and keeps the board stable at high speeds. The sintered 8000 base is made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene -(UHMWPE) and carbon. This ultra-fast pad is easy to repair thanks to the UHMWPE. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is made from castor seeds. The Aviator is made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved sustainable production.
