Not all splitboard skins are created equal. Some glide well but are slippery on the steeps. Others are like velcro - great for climbing, terrible for touring. Jones Nomad Climbing Skins eliminate this issue as these 70 % Mohair / 30 % Synthetic Nylon skins offer the perfect balance of glide and grip. The premium natural mohair fibres deliver unmatched glide in any snow condition because they remain soft and flexible at any temperature. The nylon fibres provide extra traction when the skin track gets steep or icy. Skin fibres are also coated with EVER DRY Anti-glopping treatment to improve performance in wet snow, keep your skins dry lap after lap and prevent snow/ice build-up under the skin. 
These skins feature the Quick Tension Tail Clip, a lightweight tail clip system designed to fit all 2016 and newer Jones splitboards (except Discovery). Jones splitboards have a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin. This season the Quick Tension Clip has been completely redesigned and now features a durable rubber strap and compact metal clip.
