Bataleon has added a new model to its range of fun boards, and it's quite something. The Party Wave is a fun mix of a portion of freeride, a good shot of carving and a big pack of freestyle fun. Party on!

Riding style
The Party Wave is best suited as a powder board. Steep, untouched lines, high speeds and deep fresh snow are preferred terrain. However, this snowboard is balanced so that you can carve, rip sidehits and jib on the slopes.

Shape
The Party Wave comes with the Directional 3BT™, a directional shape with a slight taper and implied swallowtail. The setback provides additional pressure on the tail. The new SideKick™ tips increase edge lift at the widest points of the nose and tail for even easier turn initiation, more float and better handling in difficult terrain.

Profile
Directional 3BT™ offers a relatively narrow centrebase and slightly more edge lift at the nose than at the tail. Thanks to the enlarged surface, you can ride the board 5-10 cm shorter than usual. The low camber enables sufficient edge hold and carving fun despite mega float.

Flex
The medium-soft flex (4/10) of the Party Wave allows you to ride a snowboard that is slightly softer than most pure powder boards.

Construction
The Pop Core is made of 100 % poplar wood. A traditional core design that takes advantage of the strong, springy properties of this medium-hard wood from tip to tail. Bi-Ax laminate gives the Party Wave the necessary pop and response. The sintered Hyper Glide S base is durable, fast and stays that way if you take good care of it.
