The comfortable Genesis for the Step On® system - new with Burton's EST system
Responsive and lightweight, with a soft flex and unparalleled cushioning - this is the Burton Genesis that many of the Burton Team Riders also rely on. It combines ergonomically shaped components with maximum comfort. With two connection points in the toe area and another connection point at the heel, you can not only get in and out in a flash, but also have a firm grip for demanding riding.
Burton EST for Step On®
This season, the Genesis comes with Burton's EST system for the first time. This binding system is exclusively compatible with snowboards with The Channel™. It offers you a precise fit, improves board feel and flexibility as no conventional inserts are used. The integrated cushioning also improves comfort and absorbs shocks and vibrations.
Highback
The Kickback Hammock Hi-Back wraps your heel in a complete suspension with a combination of integrated spring tension between the pre-shaped Hammock and the Hi-Back frame for more response and reduced vibration. With the FLAD system, you can adjust the Forward Lean exactly to your needs.
Baseplate
The one-piece baseplate made of nylon composite mixed with 30 % short fibre offers a consistent response and feel in any terrain.
