In 1988, it all started as the Dachstein Tauern Snowboard School. Shortly after, the demand for snowboards and gear made it obvious, that a shop was needed as well. Setting it up in his mum's garage, the first shop was subsequently known as "Gerry's Garage". How the name "Blue Tomato" came about though? Only Gerfried can tell. Or can he?
