The new factory is a zero CO2 emission, 100 percent hydro powered factory – fueled by a new hydropower station built in cooperation with the local community. New technologies allow a reduced energy and environmentally friendly production due to sustainable power sources and reduced process temperatures. The new facility includes all departments of production and contains a 1.2 km long testing slope on-site for research and development purposes.

Also by the manufacture of the resins capita looks for as much as possible eco-friendly producing.
The resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw materials. It is plant based that does not compete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or greenhouse emissions.
