The Nitro Phantom with revolutionary Air Plus Dampening and new Disc 

The Nitro Phantom is Eero Ettala's first choice and offers the highest freestyle performance with optimal cushioning, comfort and support. No matter if you want to progress in the park or if you want to drop into the first untracked slopes. The new Air Plus damping, which is usually installed in running shoes, fits perfectly into this high-performance binding as of this year. Since this year, Nitro has been using a new mini disc that is compatible with the Burton Channel System.

Highback
The Highback is asymmetrically constructed. The higher inside can better transfer your movements to the board, while the deeper outside gives you room to move for tweaks and presses.

Baseplate
The fibreglass reinforced Air 2.0 baseplate consists of two parts and can therefore be perfectly adapted to your boots. With the new Air Plus Dampening you get a new and incredibly effective damping system. With the 3° canted footbed, you stand in a natural and ergonomic position on the board. With Board Saver technology, the corners of the baseplate are rounded to reduce a hard friction point from binding to board. The rounded corners allow the board to move more naturally. This means a smoother ride and your board is protected.

Straps
The 3D OptiFrame Ankle Straps deliver best performance, with little weight. The Übergrip Toe Strap comes with Ecostep™ rubber from Vibram®. The strap adapts to every boot form and always stays in position, irrespective of how hard the landing is. The Forged Aluminium Speedwheel Buckles stand out with their strength and the light weight of the aluminium is still extremely smooth. The Easy Entry Buckles and Ratchets are S-shaped straps that stay out of the way when entering the binding. The wide-open buckle guide helps you buckle up easier and faster.
