The evolution of Union in the Forrest Shearer edition 

Splitboard Pro Forrest Shearer has developed the Charger Pro with Union and here comes his special edition. It has even lighter and stiffer components than the Charger. The asymmetrical highback is even more pronounced to support you on long traverses, while Union also saves weight on every buckle and strap. 

Pinless Dual Lock Split System
The Union Pinless System is simple and very quick to use. To switch to ride mode, simply pull up the lever under the heel and place the binding over the disc at a 90° angle. Turn the binding anticlockwise and then push the lever down.
To switch to walk mode, release the lever again and remove the binding from the board. Bring the binding into a vertical position and align it with the bracket tips of the touring bracket. Now push it inwards until you feel it click into place.

Highback
The EXP4 Highback was developed specifically for splitboarding. It comes with 15 % more fibreglass than the EXP3 highback and an asymmetric shape that supports you especially on long traverses and fast turns. 

Baseplate
Mixed with carbon, Duraflex CB is lighter and much stiffer than typical fibreglass-reinforced nylon parts. The footbed has a special Non-Stick™ coating. This prevents ice from forming on the footbed and highback.

Straps
The ExoFrame 5.0 ankle straps are the ultimate connection between boot and binding. A shorter contact surface for the buckle saves weight and reduces pressure points. The Magnesium S1 buckles are made of magnesium and aluminium. A good combination of lightness and stability.
