The PIZ PALÜ JACKET combines two of Ortovox most athletic product lines to form the ultimate touring jacket: The MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT technical line and the SWISSWOOL LIGHT TEC insulation line. This jacket combines the best of Ortovox two wool worlds: SWISSWOOL and MERINO WOOL. With this hybrid you are guaranteed to be the most athletic sheep on the mountain!

The PIZ PALÜ jacket is made for ski tourers. MERINONATURETEC LIGHT has been used in areas where abrasion is likely, such as the shoulder and back areas – the exact places where the backpack sits. The elastic, breathable softshell guarantees high elasticity, abrasion resistance and wind protection for the underarms, torso and in the hood. The Merino wool inner provides a comfortable, soft feel on the skin and keeps the body at the right temperature. SWISS WOOL on the front and the arms provide the necessary warmth. The wool fibers weigh just 60g/m2 and are covered by breathable yet windproof Pertex® Quantum®. Pertex® Quantum® material makes use of yarn containing filaments that have a shape reminiscent of diamonds. The interlocking fibers provide the material with EXCELLENT SCUFF RESISTANCE, SOFTNESS and IMPROVED WATER-RESISTANT QUALITIES. The PIZ PALÜ touring jacket is an ideal partner for both the ascent and the descent.
