Close-fitting, seamless, very breathable long-sleeve merino top for midwinter tours
The Ortovox 230 Competition Base Layer Top is made seamless in a circular knitting process to serve every body zone with the right merino thickness during exertion and cold. The basic rib structure with 190 g/m² merino gives the functional shirt elasticity for maximum freedom of movement.
A particularly breathable mesh structure is used in heat spots, while the 240 g/m² thick wool provides warmth in cold-sensitive zones such as the kidney area.

About Ortovox
Ortovox came to life with the invention of the first double frequency transceiver to aid in avalanche victim searches. With their passion for keeping skiers and snowboarders safe, Ortovox has grown into one of the biggest producers of avalanche safety gear on the market. In 1995 they added merino underwear to their selection, and we have been hooked ever since!
