The Kånken is the ultimate backpack icon. Developed by Fjällräven in 1978 to replace the common shoulder bags used by schoolchildren in Sweden after back problems became more common, especially among younger age groups. The backpack has a large main compartment with zipper for easy packing and unpacking. An integrated and removable seat cushion protects your back from squeezing backpack contents while providing comfortable seat padding whenever you need it.
